‘Twas the night before morning
And everyone was pissed
They’d been searching for houses
On dear old Craigslist
A simple two bedroom
Is what they desired
Preferably with parking
And Internet wired
But when’ere it looked good-
Eat in kitchen, floors of wood-
Along came some guidelines
Crushing dreams, as they should-
NO SMOKERS NO BROKERS
NO DOGS AND NO CATS
NO PARTIES, LOUD MUSIC
OR MEN WITH THEIR FRATS
So the searchers went out
Every Dick, Harry and Tom
And shouted, “Death to Sir Craigslist!
Sir Craigslist.com”!
